Northern Perth Basin
18–21 May 2017

The excursion will provide an introduction to the Mesozoic and Palaeozoic geology of the northern Perth Basin, a now mature gas and oil province with 9 of 20 fields discovered remaining in production ― the most recent discoveries, Waitsia and Senecia, came online in August 2016.

The Australian Oilfield Golf Tournament (AOGT) traditionally follows the APPEA annual conference and is now in its 51st year. The tournament is brought to you by a committee of dedicated volunteers from the oil and gas industry and in 2017 aims to raise funds for a nominated WA Charity.
