Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the APPEA Conference and Exhibition has been postponed until 14-17 June 2021. It will take place at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, Western Australia.
The conference technical and business papers that have been been submitted this year will still be published in the APPEA Journal, however all other aspects of the conference and the exhibition will be postponed until 2021.

All communication with registered delegates will be by email, wherever an email address is provided. If you register and do not receive a confirmation by email within one working day, please contact the conference administrator, The Event Gap (formerly Sane Event Group )- Email: [email protected]
All refreshment breaks and lunches will be served in the APPEA Exhibition area. Delegates with special dietary needs are asked to advise the conference administrators at the time of registration of any special requirements so that alternative arrangements can be made. (Please note, dietary preferences – rather than needs – cannot be accommodated).
Smart casual clothes are suitable for the Welcome Reception and Farewell Cocktails while business attire is the standard during the main conference daytime period. For the APPEA Conference Dinner the dress code is cocktail or lounge suit.
Delegates may request to sit at a table with a specific registered delegate when registering to attend the conference. Requests to sit with other delegates will only be considered if both/all parties issue the same request. Every effort will be made to accommodate the request, but no guarantees are given.
Delegates who do not specify a seating request, will be automatically pre-allocated a seat.
For any queries, there will be a dinner information desk next to the main registration area at the Convention Centre.
Delegates can purchase multiple tickets under one name. In such cases, all tickets will be placed in the one name badge. The delegate is responsible for distributing these tickets to his or her guest(s).
Note: this is a ticketed event — tickets must be presented on arrival at the dinner.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance before coming to the conference. APPEA and the conference administrators will not take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous interpretation is planned for this event.
Tipping is generally not expected in Australia. However, it is acceptable to leave a small amount if you feel you have received exceptional service.
In registering for the APPEA Conference and Exhibition, your relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, APPEA and other parties directly related to the event.
