The APPEA 2021 Conference and Exhibition has been confirmed as an Approved Business Event for the Federal Government’s $50 million Business Events Grant program.
Companies exhibiting, sponsoring or sending delegates to the APPEA 2021 Conference and Exhibition are now able to apply for funding to cover up to 50% of eligible costs at the industry’s flagship event in Perth, Australia, on 14-17 June 2021.
The Business Events program provides delegates, including buyers and sellers, with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions.
APPEA submitted to Austrade an Expression of Interest in late November 2020, to ensure APPEA’s exhibitors and members were eligible for the grant program.
Companies who are exhibiting, sponsoring or sending delegates need to apply for the grant by following the online application process being run by the Federal Government. (This is an Austrade grant and Austrade is the decision-maker.)
Grant applications close 5pm AEDT, 30 March 2021 or earlier if funding is exhausted. APPEA encourages applications to be submitted asap.
