Networking Program

The 2011 APPEA Conference offered attendees outstanding networking opportunities.

From 10-13 April 2011, delegates were able to attend a number of functions and activities to ensure they maximised their exposure to the ‘who’s who’ of oil and gas.

Welcome Reception

This opening networking event set the tone for the conference as the movers and shakers of the industry congregate at this superb function. Including first class food and beverage, the welcome reception was the main networking function, as the industry caught up with old colleagues and formed new contacts.

Lunches and Refreshment Breaks in the Exhibition Hall

Delegates were able to take the opportunity to mix and mingle whilst enjoying a short refreshment break or lunch.

Happy Hour was a superb networking opportunity for all delegates and exhibitors. Held in the exhibition halls, it was a chance to walk through the stands, relax and mingle.

Conference Dinner

The APPEA Conference Dinner is the premier social event on the Australian oil and gas calender. Delegates put on some glitz, subscribed to the galmour and enjoyed an evening of quality food, fine wines and superb world-class Australian entertainment which included Guy Sabastian and many others. This was the highlight of the social program and over 1600 guests attended.

This event was by ticket only, in addition to the conference registration fee. Tickets were $150pp.

Farewell Cocktails

5.00pm - 7.00pm

Delegates were able to relax and take the opportunity to mingle one last time as they bid farewell to APPEA 2011 and talked about meeting at APPEA 2012 in Adelaide, South Australia.
